Just this summer, I celebrated 20 years of business. During the celebrations, I reflected on how grateful I was for being able to live my dream, helping other nutrition entrepreneurs build THEIR dreams.
But let’s face it; if it wasn’t for those who hire us, we couldn’t live our dreams of building thriving businesses!
I made a comment on Facebook about the importance of planning your exit strategy when starting your business and a friend reminded me that this was what our professor used to tell us in business school.
Yeah, it’s true.
How many people DO that, though? Did you??
In less than a month, I will be realizing MY exit plan! Many people have commented that this seems sudden. No, it’s not. And no, I’m fine.
There’s a saying, “If not now, when?” and that’s how I view this next chapter in my life. Why wait until I’m too old to fully enjoy what’s next??
I’ve reached out to all current clients and have sent notices to everyone who purchased any of my electronic products, to let them know what to expect. And I stopped blogging three times a week a couple months ago.
But before closing down, I wanted to write one LAST blog to tell YOU thank you.
Thank you for supporting me, while I supported you, providing you with what I hope has been tips, suggestions, inspiration, and guidance for how to make growing your business easier. I love this stuff, and if there’s just ONE tiny bit of business that YOU now love, too, thanks to what you’ve learned from me, my mission is complete.
Now it’s onto other things.
This summer, as I spent time in my garden, I had a strong desire to make gardening videos! Since it didn’t fit with MEG Enterprises, instead, I created “business lessons from the garden” videos. But keep your eyes open, because starting in January, NOW I’ll make gardening videos. And, yeah, even in January, there are things to consider for the spring garden.
So I hope you realize that just because MEG Enterprises is closing down (publicly), I won’t be gone. I’ll still be around. But as ME, instead of as “President of MEG Enterprises.”
